The market town Mondsee with its about 3800 inhabitants is located in the touristic beautiful Salzkammergut. Mondsee and its surroundings are perfect for family vacations and sporty ambitious vacationers. Mondsee itself with its beach promenade, the Basilica or the Alpenseebad also offers numerous possibilities in the surrounding area such as the Drachenwand, the somewhat easier Schober or the nearby Wolfgangsee.
